From the bund road (Lake Road by-Road 8) of the largely overgrown Averihena lake, about 20 to 60 m away from the emergency overflow (so called “shoe bridge”) towards Thalangama Lake, it is possible to see Adam’s Peak if the weather allows. This was e.g. possible in April 2025 and again in April 2026, best early mornings between 6:30 and 9:00 am. The photos here were taken on 21 and 29 April 2026.
